My goodness I sure had one busy week and weekend! I went to the doctor on Wednesday for my 4 month checkup! I weighed in at a whopping 14.8 lbs! That put me in the 75th percentile for weight and I am now 26 1/4 inches long! That means I am a tall girl and in the 95th percentile! Everything checked out wonderfully and the doctor was very happy with my progress and strength that I showed her. She said that I can start eating foods to see how things go, so we are going to start with green beans this week! I am so excited I cannot wait! I did get 2 of my shots that I needed and again it seems that I may have had some weird reaction to them. Just like my 2 month shots I started getting an upper respiratory infection...weird coincidence or is there a correlation? No one knows for sure, I just know that I have not felt well since Thursday! Thursday night we traveled to Iowa and spent the night and then headed out Friday morning for Wisconsin! Uncle Brandon and Aunt Brie were married on Saturday and it was a beautiful wedding...at least that was what I heard! Mommy and I had to stand outside because I decided that it was a great time to throw a huge fit and scream through it all! Guess it was not the best timing on my part. I will say though that when it came time for me to be a part in the wedding, I pulled myself together and rode down the aisle with Johnathan and our roses. We looked pretty cute together! I would have rather walked down the aisle and I proved that to mom and dad at the rehearsal on Friday when I pretty much threw myself out of my Bumbo chair and the wagon when I arched my back! They buckled me in for the wedding...they are pretty quick to catch on to me and my ideas! My favorite part of the night was definitely the reception! I met a lot of great relative that were all willing to give mom and break and take me for awhile. Music is one of my favorite things, so listening to the music and watching the disco ball were amazing! I took a few naps through the reception but never missed a chance to dance with Uncle Brandon! I partied that night until almost 11:30! Whew, I was quite the tired girl the next day...perhaps a little to tired...our car ride back to Iowa was not the most enjoyable for mom and dad as I screamed, but we all made it in one piece! We ate breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Monday morning before heading back home. It was a great weekend and I had a lot of fun meeting everyone from Daddy's family! Congratulations to Uncle Brandon and Aunt Brie and thank you for thinking of me on your wedding day!
